Qantas Begins Construction On New Perth Lounge

Qantas has begun construction for their brand new Business Lounge at Perth Airport, promising customers an improved airport experience.

The completion of the lounge will coincide with the move to a dedicated Qantas precinct in 2015 providing convenient access to Terminals 3 and 4 - where the Qantas Group will have exclusive use for Domestic and Regional services.

At 1,365 square metres the Business lounge will be equipped to give eligible customers the space, state of the art facilities, quality service and luxuries that Qantas Business lounges are renowned for including:

• capacity for over 350 customers

• a work zone with meeting room and conference facilities

• a barista service

• a dedicated dining area offering a "dish of the day"

• exciting new food and beverage initiatives

• wireless internet, newspapers, magazines, and Foxtel.

The addition of a Qantas Business Lounge will complete their suite of domestic lounges at Perth Airport with the Chairman's lounge and Qantas Club already in operation offering an additional 30% lounge capacity for the Perth market.

Qantas' existing four Business Lounges in Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane and Melbourne are a unique product in the Australian domestic market and provide a truly premium experience for their most valued Frequent Flyers.
